Sherpa Adventure Gear ambassador, Kenton Cool has completed his 12th successful summit of Mount Everest and become the first Briton to reach the top of the highest peak since the earthquake in Nepal and subsequent avalanches in 2014.
Kenton successfully reached the top of the world’s highest peak with fellow adventurers Robert Lucas, Mexican David Liano and three Nepalese guides.
Mr Cool said the latest ascent – which he completed on 12 May – was the best of all his climbs.
“Every time you go to Everest, it’s slightly different,” he said. “This time the ascent was amazing, with a cloudless sky. You couldn’t ask for better conditions.”
Kenton is one of the world’s leading alpine climbers having made history after climbing the Everest Triology; Everest, Lhotse and Nuptse – in the space of five days. His career highlights include being the first Briton to summit Everest twelve times and the first non-?Asian to summit Everest twice in one week.
