Whether you run every day or once a week, long or short distances, you’ll know that it’s important to get a shoe that gives you the best foothold, ride and grip to enjoy every terrain element of your urban run. However you can’t really judge how well a shoe will perform for you pottering around the sports store.
Enter shoe brand Salomon..during the month of May they are organising a series of free post?work 5km runs with the opportunity test out some of their key city trail styles. The test pool will include the X-Scream 3D, S-Lab X-Series and the Sense Mantra 3, all of which have been designed for urban trails on varied terrain.
Plus whilst there you can also check your pace and fitness with the brand new Ambit3 Run GPS watch from Suunto.
If that wasn’t tempting enough, if you pre-register there’s even a free goody bag containing socks and headwear. All runs will depart at 6pm, and Salomon are hosting them from the following locations:
- 5th May, Run 4 It, Edinburgh
- 6th May, Run 4 It, Glasgow
- 7th May, Run 4 It, Stirling
- 12th May, Accelerate, Sheffield
- 13th May, Running Bath, Bath
- 14th May, The Triathlon Shop, Bristol
- 20th May, Alton Sports, Eastleigh
- 26th May, Simply Sports, Oxted
- 27th May Profeet, Fulham
If you are not based on these shores, then check out the Salomon website as there are more runs planned in other countries
