Best selling author, explorer and photographer, Levison Wood, will be talking about his adventures
at Ellis Brigham Mountain Sports, Covent Garden, London on Wednesday 29th June – and there is certainly a lot to cover.
More recently known for his Channel 4 Walking the Nile and Walking the Himalaya documentaries, Lev’s adventures cover experiences such as mountain climbing in Iraq, horse riding the river Oxus on the Afghan-Tajik border and conducting scientific research in Central Africa. He has also interviewed and photographed some of the most prominent names in the international community including George Clooney, Paul Theroux and His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
He is currently planning his next major expedition and will share an insight into what this might be, as well as drawing on some of his stories from his expeditions both on the Nile in the Himalayas and as a soldier.
Levison is an ambassador for a number of charities and the proceeds from this night will go to The AMECA Trust, a charity of which he is patron.
The talk kicks off at 8pm and tickets can be bought from Ellis Brigham
